At "Ban Caya" you will help set up the event, work with orgs, sport clubs, vendors, and the attendees (e.g. facilitate, provide info).Detailed description
"Ban Caya" is a public event with the purpose of bringing people together and getting to know their neighborhood and neighbors better. The roads near Centro di Bario Santa Cruz will be closed and people can walk, bike, or skate freely on the streets while visiting different info booths alongside the road where they can learn more about what activities and services are provided in their neighborhood. There will also be interactive activities, such as a petting zoo, music car showcase, games, kite competitions, and sports competitions.
This Ban Caya will be themed "Crioyo" and will offer typical Aruban activities, delicacies, and music.
At "Ban Caya: There are different volunteer opportunities for every person:
- Guide organizations, sports clubs, and vendors to their designated locations.
- Help organizations, sports clubs, and vendors set up their booths and provide them with support throughout the event.
- Aid setting up common areas, such as sitting areas, etc.
- Help with the setup and clean-up of the event.
- Provide information to attendees during the event by handing out flyers.
- Obtain feedback from the attendees by conducting short surveys.
